The third poster in this project involes the Safe Partnership, Ltd. organization based in the United Kingdom. Their specialty is on crime prevention for eldery and vulnerable people.
Their focus requires a unique perspective for understanding and participation. Being a non-profit, their focus is in gaining identification to their audience. As such, that audience needs to be able to quickly understand the importance of being protected. Therefore, a simple, understandable message, particularly visual, can make the concept understandable.
In order to navigate away from the common, I wish to take a unique approach to applying their message by doing the following:
Virgin Airways has a unique, personable billboard that involves the use of pretend dialog
One unique method of photography that can help make the poster personable is using Tilt-Shift photography (see also: Tilt-Shift minature faking).

Comps
I need to correct the secondary copy location, as it overlaps the graphical type in an uncomfortable way, but these illustrate the direction the poster is taking.
Copy
Och, the Sweedish word for and is not necessary for the graphica copy, and I began to play with its removal (comps 3, 4, & 5). I also might change word for bedroom (sängkammaren) to sovrum to help with the readability of the text, yet by doing so, I reduce the graphical copy by one line. I am afraid it will alter the visual path, however, I shall test this with further comps.

Its been a slow week, and I’ve forgotten to post an update on the status of Poster 02.
Typographic research has been completed using the OurType.be website, in which one can sample all fonts in a Flash-based word-processing application. Screenshots of potentials were taken and posted below.

Zeno’s paradoxes — the arrow paradox:
"If everything when it occupies an equal space is at rest, and if that which is in locomotion is always occupying such a space at any moment, the flying arrow is therefore motionless." — Arisotle
In the arrow paradox, Zeno asks us to imagine an arrow in flight. He then asks us to divide up time into a series of indivisible nows or moments. At any given moment if we look at the arrow it has an exact location so it is not moving. Yet movement has to happen in the present; it can’t be that there’s no movement in the present yet movement in the past or future. So throughout all time, the arrow is at rest. Thus motion cannot happen. (Wikipedia)

I will be slowing integrating a newer, cleaner design into the process blog.
I also plan to include a keyword tagging system to allow for tagging of common ideas/objects in which will aid me in the future to look back on common themes in my art/design. DONE

The rough basis for the poster is attached below. This version is more for the placement of the primary objects, looking at scale, grid, geometry, and overall aesthetic.
Typographic changes, detailed illustration, secondary graphics, and copy will change.
The concept behind this poster is the inclusion of common cultural icons of Memphis without the cliche of actual photographs. Representations of the objects, such as barbecue and music notes, against a uniquely designed background of graphical and textural objects will present a dynamically themsles poster for the event.
At the moment, there is still a divide between the left and right, which will be solved with the inclusion of secondary objects. Textual changes will include a better placement for the location listing, as well as a start/end date for the show. Typographic hierarchy and detailing will change with the inclusion of one of the fonts listed in the post prior, replacing the default Helvetica used for this rough comp.

I am worried that the "illustartion" I am planning to create may not be a true illustration and cause a confliction within the poster. To counter my fears, I plan to look into other forms of illustration that may work for this poster.
Solution
Instead of focusing on specific imagery of Memphis, focusing on one aspect of that culture can be just as empowering as a physical image. Example: BBQ ribs and music notes.

Keywords — bbq ribs, music, elvis, memphis, thumbnails, sketches
