Poster 01, 02, 03 - Final Wrap-up & Thoughts
Final Thoughts
- Gatorboard is very difficult to cut. I’ll stick with foamcore as necessary. But it is impressively strong.
- Also not having enough gatorboard after making a mistake on poster 02, I had to use the other side of the board, thus it has remanients of the other poster on its back. (eck!)
- Self-lamination is cheaper, but it is very diffcult to do by yourself.
- My Epson COLOR 3000 is on its last leg. No matter how many times I clean the print heads, re-align the heads, it still streaks. At 300dpi, 720dpi or 1440 dpi… it streaks.
- Total cost to print, mount, and laminate was roughly $45 (not including ink).
- I really enjoy this digital method for process notebooks. I’ve quickly looked back at what I need, and it has helped keep me organized.
